HPKCC’s Parks Committee has been working, creating, coordinating, and giving small grants to Park Advisory Committees (PACs) for as many area parks as possible. Please contact us with questions about a PAC for your park. We also work on great suites of programs and workdays. HPKCC and its Parks Committee are members of and contribute annually to the Neighborhood Enhancement Grants Program. Recent winners include Bixler, Cornell Playlot, and Elm Parks.

Our parks range from vest pocket to neighborhood parks (some with regional attractions) to the big regional parks that surround Hyde Park on three sides. If you see something in the park that shouldn’t be, call 911 and Park Security (1.312.747.2193). For permits and rentals, please visit the Chicago Park District website.
