Fylynne Crawford is a small business owner, who owned Kimbark Laundry on 53rd Street in Hyde Park for 11 years. The store moved from that location to South Shore in 2018. She now owns Tidy Housekeeping & Laundry Services and works for Chicago Public Schools and various Cook County school districts as a Substitute Teacher. She combines her entrepreneurial side with her interest in education to help schools in different communities. Before being elevated to President of HPKCC in 2018, Ms. Crawford was active on the Schools Committee. As President of the Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Conference, she helped develop the website that has been instrumental in raising the profile of HPKCC in Hyde Park, Kenwood and surrounding neighborhoods.
